PT Geo Dipa Energi (Persero) (GEO Dipa) has published a tender for the “Design and Construction of the Jailolo Civil / Infrastructure Works.” Proposals must be delivered to Geo Dipa on or before the 23rd of July 2024, Jakarta time.

The Jailolo geothermal project, located in West Halmahera, Indonesia, has an estimated potential capacity of 40 to 60 MWe. It is one of the sites planned under the government drilling program to reduce the risk of geothermal exploration.  The program has been assigned by the government to PT Sarana Multi Infrastruktur (Persero) (PT SMI) as the financing manager, Geo Dipa as the technical drilling implementer, and PT Penjaminan Infrastruktur Indonesia (Persero) (PII) as the guarantee support.

PT SMI has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Geothermal Energy Upstream Development Project (GEUDP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this grant towards payments of procurement under the GEUDP project.  Geo Dipa will act as an Implementing Party for the procurement activities of this project.

The tender will be done through a single-stage, two-envelope RFP process. The Proposal will consist of (i) the Technical Part, without any reference to prices; and (ii) the Financial Part. Interested participants may obtain further information from PT Geo Dipa Energi (Persero) – Mr. Ferry Iskandar – Head of Supply Chain Management Division (procurement.emu@geodipa.co.id) and inspect the RFP Document during office hours at the premises of Geo Dipa.
