Registration is now open for “Geothermal Power: The Light Under Your Feet.” This is a high-level event being organized by the European Geothermal Energy Council (EGEC) that will feature insightful discussions on the future of geothermal electricity, thermal storage, and lithium.

The event will be on the 3rd of July 2024 in Brussels, Belgium. Registration is only until 21 June 2024.

The registration fees are as follows:

  • EGEC members, policymakers, NGOs’ and media outlets*: Waived registration
  • Non-EGEC members: EUR 99
  • Non-profit organizations: Upon request

*Identification may be required for those who register as media outlet representatives

The one-day event promises to be an enriching conference and will offer different experiences for delegates. The preliminary programme has been published on the official event page, but this will be updated in the coming weeks. The programme will be complemented by networking sessions and social activities.

With geothermal energy emerging as a reliable, resilient, and locally-sourced alternative to fossil fuels, this event is the key place to discuss its pivotal role in Europe’s decarbonisation journey.
