In a Facebook post, the AFP emphasized that it is \u201ca professional, disciplined, and non-partisan institution committed to serving the people and protecting the Republic.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cWe believe that the fight against corruption must be pursued through constitutional, transparent, and lawful processes \u2013 never through force, intimidation, or military intervention,\u201d the statement read.<\/p>\n
The military called on personnel and citizens to \u201cunite in saying no to military intervention,\u201d noting that its strength \u201clies in its loyalty to the Constitution and to the Flag.\u201d<\/p>\n
The remarks come a week before planned rallies on November 30, organized by the Kilusang Bayan Kontra Kurakot (KBKK), at Luneta, EDSA, and other venues nationwide.
