The work evaluates multiple metrics to appraise the feasibility of geothermal reservoirs in HSAs, and provides insights into the opportunities and the challenges of producing green hydrogen from geothermal energy, applicable not only to the hydro-geological and socio-economic conditions in Australia but also worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>Ms. Hamlehdar is a Ph.D. candidate from the University of Melbourne, Infrastructural Engineering Department. Her research focuses on exploring the potential of geothermal energy, particularly low-temperature hot sedimentary aquifers (HSAS) for the production of clean hydrogen. She has experience in numerical modelling of deep geothermal reservoirs and thermodynamic modelling of above-ground components.
