Applications open for geothermal diploma course in Latin America

Applications are now open for the “Diploma in Geothermal Energy for Latin America, 2024” course to be held in El Salvador from the 25th of August to the 7th of December 2024.
The deadline for applications will be on the 30th of July 2024. Please contact diplomado@lageo.com.sv for any inquiries.
The diploma course is organized by El Salvador geothermal company LAGEO and the Iceland-based GRO – Geothermal Training Programme.
Ten (1o) scholarships will be offered to students from Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, and Peru. The course will also be open to 10 students from El Salvador. Applicants must be professionals or graduate students that are currently working on studies or projects related to geothermal.
Grantees will be notified by the 7th of August 2024.
