Over the past decade, the Patuha Geothermal Power Plant Unit 1, operated by PT Geo Dipa Energi (Persero), has stood as a testament to the potential of geothermal energy. Drawing from a steam-dominated geothermal reservoir with 12 production wells and 2 injection wells, the power plants boasts of a generating capacity of 60 MW. In 2023 alone, Patuha Unit 1 produced 498 GWh of electricity, contributing to a cumulative total of 4,602 GWh over its ten years of operation.

The Patuha geothermal power plant has demonstrated exceptional reliability, achieving an Availability Factor (AF) of 99.8% in 2023. This impressive milestone is attributed to the consistent performance of its wells and strategic management practices, including the extension of Operation Running Hours and the rescheduling of overhaul activities through the use of machine learning GEOREC for asset reliability and performance reviews.
