The first edition of the Italian Geothermal Forum will be held at the “Auditorium della Tecnica” Convention Center in Rome on 11-12 November 2024. Registration for the event is currently open.

The forum aspires to be a reference point for the geothermal sector in Italy, providing a unique opportunity for professionals, companies, and institutions to discuss and share the latest news and trends in the field of geothermal energy. Italy holds a special place in the geothermal sector as the birthplace of geothermal electricity generation and one of the top 10 countries in terms of installed geothermal power generation capacities.

The program will include plenary sessions with the participation of representatives of national and regional institutions, parallel technical session on different types of geothermal systems, and opportunities for networking with Italian and foreign research institutions, associations, and media organizations.

The event will also have an expo where manufacturers or distributors can showcase their latest innovations in the geothermal energy sector. The expo is open to companies with products or services for surface geothermal energy and deep geothermal energy, as well as industry bodies and associations.

The Italian Geothermal Forum is being organized by In Fieri, a communication company that has been working with the energy sector for years, in collaboration with the major Italian associations in the geothermal sector – the Italian Geothermal Union (UGI), the Italian Urban Heating Association (AIRU), the National Council of Geologists , the Geothermal Network, and the National Association of Geothermal Heat Pump Systems (ANIGHP) – section of ANIPA.

ThinkGeoEnergy is a proud media partner of the Italian Geothermal Forum.
